I wanted to make a night where you can meet other singles and still feel like yourself. Whether you live in Taipei or are just visiting, you’re welcome to join us.
Our local hosts are my friends. They first came as guests, so they know how a first visit feels. We’ll welcome you and help you meet people.
Our monthly Singles Night runs on the last weekend of each month, starting in late September. Meet us at Somewhere Bar on Friday or Tea Bar on Saturday, both in Da’an, Taipei. Check the calendar for current times and details.

If you come on your own, we’ll introduce you to a few people. If you feel like staying out later, you can join others heading out together.

Come upstairs for karaoke, or stay downstairs for darts and a chat. You can move around and find what you enjoy.

Maybe you feel the same. You’d like a drink, a good conversation or someone to explore Taipei nightlife with, but walking into a bar alone feels hard.
That’s why I started this community. I wanted to give you a friendly place to begin.
If your trip lines up with Singles Night, come spend the evening with us.
That’s why we don’t do speed dating.
No timers or numbered tables. We won’t tell you who you have to talk to.
I want you to enjoy the evening, not feel like you’re being interviewed. You’re here to meet other singles, but you can take your time.
Maybe you’ll meet someone you like. Maybe you’ll make a friend. I’d be happy for you either way.

You’re welcome at any age and from any background. We’ve had first-year university students and a retired guest from abroad who was 60.
You don’t need to be a certain kind of person to join us. Just come with an interest in meeting people.
It changes from event to event. Our regular weekly nights usually have around 15 to just over 30 people. Singles Night can be different.
Fridays tend to be livelier, with people staying together for the bar hop afterward.
No. There’s no pressure to drink alcohol or buy anything during our after-event bar hop. You can come along for the company.
You’re welcome even if you don’t drink. Joining the bar hop is optional. Stay as long as you like, or head home after the social.
Yes, please do. Many guests come alone. Let a host know it’s your first time, and we’ll help you meet people.
Yes. Even if you’re only here for a few days, I’d love you to spend a night with us.
No. We won’t pair you up or time your conversations. You can meet people at your own pace.
No. You can speak English here, and it doesn’t have to be perfect.
No. You can have a non-alcoholic drink and still join in.
Not at all. You’re welcome to listen, play darts or just chat.
No. Choose your date on Luma and RSVP for free. You’ll pay at the venue.
